Ken Space
Ken is Vietnamese for cocoon. A student-living brand for 16 to 24 year olds: a soft place to do hard things.
Student housing sells itself the same way everywhere: a rooftop render, a gym, a games room and the word "vibes". But the people moving in are seventeen, a long way from home and carrying a course load and a part-time job. They need calm, and nobody in the category was selling it.

A silkworm doesn't rush. It spins one thread, then another, until it's built something strong enough to change inside. That became the promise, and the line "Spin slow. Grow loud." puts it in the residents' own voice.

The mark isn't drawn, it's spun: one silk line traces a cocoon, then multiplies into sixty threads. Five colours from raw silk, one typeface in three weights, and forty-seven pieces from the room key to the subway billboard.
