Return to Origins
The theme Da Nang carries for the next ten years. Announced nationally. Built on the people of the place, not the bridge everyone has already photographed.
Da Nang closed 2025 with 17.3 million visitors, then merged with Quang Nam and became Vietnam's largest city by area. Lovely numbers. The problem was the story: every coastal destination sells the same postcard (bridge, beach, resort at golden hour) and nobody can tell them apart.

Chạm về nguyên bản: touch the original. I moved the destination off its landmarks and onto its people. Not the skyline, the fisherman mending a net at 5am. A bridge dates and a skyline gets rebuilt. A fisherman at first light is as true in 2036 as it is today.

A key-visual system with rules instead of a locked artwork: a crop language for the photography, one typographic lockup and a colour discipline lifted from the source material. Built to be extended by dozens of hands across a city of three million, from a billboard to a wristband to an app icon.

Visitor and population figures are the city's published numbers, the baseline the work was built against, not results I'm claiming.
